It Seems Like Everyone Is In Debt

Debt relief is on a lot of people's minds right now because the bad economy has just made things worse. Those that have debt are now in a more serious situation as they may have lost their job or sense that their job is not secure. Having debt just increases the everyday pressure and stress a person has to live with as the future for them becomes so uncertain.
Those who may have never had any debt before might be facing it for the first time ever if they've lost their job or have gotten a pay cut. Anyone living day to day without any savings is in a bad position now as there is no room for anything bad happening. If an unforeseen expense occurs, going into debt might be right around the corner.
One reason for all the debt problems is that so many people have been living their lives by spending more than they make. Credit cards are so easy to get and use that many folks have let them get out of control. Now that they are in trouble, they are looking to the government and hoping there is some program that will help them out.
Unfortunately for them, our U.S. government is also deeply in debt. In fact, it is really bankrupt and the only thing keeping it afloat is that it has the ability to print more and more money. As a role model for fiscal responsibility, our government fails in every respect. Not only can't the government help individual citizens, it can't even help itself.
People who are losing their homes and jobs really have nowhere to turn. It is sad but in the cases where people have spent more than they have or make, it is really their own fault. People need to learn how to save and put away money for a rainy day. Clearly, that rainy day is here for many people right now.
