Revenge, What Is It?

Revenge is one word for the aspiration to get even and it is an act of reciprocating another person's actions negatively for getting ashamed or hurt. Sometimes revenge is just done out of one's desire to make another person feel disgrace in the same as he made one feel it. Some people get revenged at even without knowing that they have done something wrong to others.
people look for revenge because of several reasons. All of these reasons hold one thing true and that is the main goal which is to feel contented and revived after losing pride for getting disgraced or shamed. This is mainly because a person is overcome with his ambition to do something after getting physically or emotionally hurt or downcast.
The individual may feel that he is unjustly suffering and that he should not have been in a bad position right now if only fair dealings were used and thus he feels angry or envious to another person. A simple gesture of action that by any means was not intended to harm anyone at all can be the cause of this and a more obvious cause for this would be a deliberate nag that was received or a forced hit to another person's body.
When an individual feels seemingly inferior to someone who has more power or better conditions especially when the other individual attained it in dishonest ways, he tends to be dominated by the wish to get revenge because of being powerless over the other. This emotion is even made stronger when others are in the same situation and in a lower position and the person feels sorry for it.
Some people also become very firm when it comes to defending honor and so when someone has done enough to trample honor, whether this honor is of the person themselves, or of his friends or of his organization or group, he would do whatever it takes just to defend this honor and bring back good name and dignity.
People get revenge in various ways and this often depends on the situations that somebody is in as well as the personality of the person. People do a lot of different things to hunt for revenge but all of these are done in order to do something for a self-esteem that was stomped upon.
One way to get revenge is to teach the attacker a lesson by doing to him the same thing or something similar as he did so that he will experience exactly the same thing as you did. Another way is to make the attacker learn his lesson by punishing him of wrong deeds such as breaking rules or cheating. Telling one's side of the story especially with strong foundations or witnesses is another way to get revenge particularly when the attacker is spreading a wrong and twisted story so as to make the attacker feel ashamed and defensive.
There is no better way to get revenge than forgiving the other individual and just continue to live comfortably after having been bruised emotionally or physically. This makes someone strong for not getting simply affected and this also makes others see someone with a great image.
