There may come a time where you find yourself at a loss after an unfortunate breakup with your boyfriend and then you try to remedy things by asking the person for another chance. Of course, this means that you are lowering your pride and that could cost you.
A single breakup alone can deal some significant damage to your self-image and you don?t deserve any further degradation of your pride. This leaves you with no excuse for not trying to win your ex boyfriend back while keeping your dignity intact.
If the breakup involved you getting dumped, then you might be looking at yourself negatively. But there are many women who initiated the breakup and then shortly after realized that it was the wrong decision leading them to go up to the guy and ask for another chance. This is the mistake that is often made and should be avoided.
If He is the one who Broke Up With You
Look back to the early days of the relationship and try to remember how he was attracted to you in the first place. Was your attitude any different than now? Compare your spirit now and back then.
Once you got the picture, all you need to do is bring the past to the present and show that his first impression represents the real you.
Showing the old or real you will really get any person to think deeply about his feelings for the girl. By letting him realize that you are that same person, he may very well fall back in love with you once again. But don?t get your hopes too high because he might miss the point, but that doesn?t mean that nobody will get the point. It?s like forcing a horse to drink by having them follow you to the source. That horse may not drink it, but another one could.
If You Left Him
If ever you broke up with him by mistake, build enough courage to admit your mistake directly to him. Accept any words that he has to say and tell him that you don?t have any expectations of things to go back the way it was. This may contradict your thoughts, but you really must accept whatever path he chooses after you voice out your mistake. Don?t forget to apologize to for hurting him after you confessed to him. As long as you kindly ask for forgiveness instead of begging on your knees, you could have a chance for some magic to happen. Begging does nothing, but hurt your pride and may even leave the person suspicious.
After you said your piece, you can simply walk away and give him time to think about it. Time alone is necessary for him to make his judgment and see if going back is worth it. It is understandably tough to admit your mistake and accept anything that will take place. But if he realizes his value on the way you see him, he might give it another shot.
Winning back your ex boyfriend is no walk in the park unless you have some love potion going on. But if you strongly believe that he is the right person that can lead you both to the long term or even marriage, then expect good things to happen.
Don?t run after him, but let him run after you. You need to give him that feeling to look for you again. Although it is difficult and can lead you to some humiliation, at least you can keep your dignity intact with a chance of getting your ex boyfriend back.
