Everyone who knows how to read has the power to magnify him or herself and allows them to multiply the ways, to make their life full, significant, and interesting. Reading enhances our knowledge and provides us a wider perspective to think on. With the help of reading, we are able to expand our exposure to think, read, and write. So the theme line of the topic is how to develop the strategies? In order to improve our communication skills, we must develop reading habit that is very important.
Children need direct teaching in the skills of breaking words into their component sounds and in blending individual sounds together into words. Phonemic awareness is one of the most important skills upon which early reading depends. Children who have poorly developed phonemic awareness skills are at great risk for becoming poor readers. We improve our skills through reading that makes an impact on our gesture; command over language and most importantly on the ability to think. Successful reading depends upon understanding that words are composed of individual sounds.
Reading more books and exposing ourselves to new and more complete information, we will be able to come up with ideas that are more creative and innovative. Scholarly reading has different strategies it's very important to read a preface that provides information about the author's objective, the organizational plan, how the book is different from others, and the author's background and qualifications. The basic step is to read the topic that one likes the most because it is important to develop the habit of reading that provides the depth of information about the subject and versatility. Children should have ample practice reading material that is not difficult for them to decode.
The key to helping students who experience difficulty in learning to read is to identify a student's specific reading problems and to devise programs which capitalize upon a student's unique learning strengths. A curriculum that focuses on specific, appropriate, and practical learning strategies will best help students become proficient, efficient and independent readers.
