There are also markets and little shops to supply in the basic requirements, but the majority of provisions should be brought along, as Ponta, being difficult to reach from Maputo only offers basic goods in the shops. If you can you should take along enough bottled drinking water as tap water is somewhat suspicious in these parts of the world. Also be sure to use anti malaria medication, strictly in accordance with the directions and use ant mozzie spray in the day and in your tent.
