My Samsung LN46B650 HDTV Review

Samsung have just released their newest LCD HDTV models to the market. They come complete with Samsung's new Touch of Color design. This series of High Definition Televisions have been touted by consumers and reviewers all over the world to be the best HDTV series ever to have been released.
Buyers these days are not as commonly interested in purchasing TVs with screen sizes less than 46 inches.
Please read my below review of the Samsung LN46B650 46 inch model, which I purchased a few weeks ago.
As you would expect, the Samsung LN46B650 46 inch 1080p 120 Hz LCD HDTV with Red Touch of Color has a red touch of colour around the edges of the black frame panel, which gives the TV a very fashionable look. The overall design of this particular model is a bit different than it's fellow models from this series of Samsung TVs. Personally, I love it.
At the bottom edge of the TV frame, there is a slight curve and the TV itself sits on a thin rectangular swivel based stand. In my opinion, the overall design of this TV is so cool! Its looks noticeably modern as soon as anyone lays eyes on it.
Since I bought my Samsung LN46B650 a few weeks ago, Ive watched lots of movies on it on my Blu-ray player, and I have to say that the images are very impressive. There is a high contrast ratio, with a newly improved screen, (since previous Samsung models) which makes the whites lighter and the blacks darker, producing crystal clear, crisp images.
One downside about this model, though, is that it's screen itself has a high gloss finish. This means that it can sometimes reflect light off it, which is quite annoying if you have it in a bright room during the day. If you are planning on buying a TV for a bright room then I'd suggest maybe going for a Samsung 630 model instead. With their matte finish screens, this won't be much of a problem.
The sound system could probably be better too, but then again, its still an upgrade from the previous Samsung models that have been released. And its not as if the sound is number one priority when buying a new TV anyway.
My favourite feature of the Samsung LN46B650 46 inch 1080p 120 Hz LCD HDTV with Red Touch of Color is that its internet ready when you buy it! All you have to do is plug a cable into the Ethernet port and you are able to browse content from sites such as Flickr, YouTube and Yahoo! How cool is that!
