Do You Tip Movers?

I know it might sound like a silly question, but I really didn't know. I have lived in Orlando all my life and I only moved once.
I was only 19 the first time I moved and that was from my parents' house to my fiance's home, so I didn't have any stress. So, I looked for an Orlando Moving Company online and in the paper, and chose an Orlando Moving Company that sounded professional. I started packing about a month before we had to move because I didn't know how long it would take me to pack up all of our stuff.
By the day of the move I was totally stressed out. I didn't know about packing my tv in bubble wrap and wardrobe boxes, but the Orlando Movers explained everything to me, and I saw the Orlando Moving Company was very professional so I started to feel less stressed.
I had two Orlando Movers with a truck and a dolly and boxes and tape and blankets and it was an organized mess in my apartment, but I trusted the Orlando Moving Company would not send me two guys that didn't know what they were doing. So I tried to stay out of the way and just let them do their job. The two Orlando Movers worked well together, they didn't chit chat alot, and they only stopped a few times for breaks, and I was genuinely impressed with their work.
About half way through the move I had an "Oh Crap" moment. I started to calculate the cost of the Orlando Movers, and the cost to move into my new home, and my bills for the month and I realized I would not have alot left, but I also started to see that the Orlando Movers were working really hard and they probably didn't make that much per hour and I should probably give them both a tip.
I wasn't sure who to ask so I called the moving company to talk to my salesperson, but she was not in the office because it was the weekend. But I did get in touch with the Orlando Moving Company's Dispatcher. I asked him if it was mandatory to give the Orlando Movers a tip. The dispatcher said that it was not "Mandatory" but if I felt that they did a good job, then I should really give them something. He said average was $20 bucks each, so I talked to my husband and he agreed that we should indeed tip the Orlando Movers.
At the end of the day, we gave the two men from the Orlando Moving Company $35 each, it was a little more then we could afford, but we know they deserved it.
