What this means is that all of those plastic grocery bags people get at the stores could be recycled which is as helpful as them degrading in the landfill. One of the other options that have been around for a while is the reusable mesh or material totes. Many of the big box stores, grocery stores and smaller, individual sales stores are offering their customers to purchase these totes, almost all of which have the stores logo or name printed on them.
Having a businesses name printed on their plastic bags will help with that companies advertising needs. When people leave the store and walk to their cars or reuse the bags for something else, this is free advertising because the bags have the business logo or name in large print. Trade shows or home shows are another place where the placed bags or reusable totes with a company logo or name imprinted on them would be a good idea because potential customers are walking around viewing others with the bags.
There are many different types and styles of polyethylene or polypropylene plastic bags. There are those that are larger and made for trashcans, thicker bags for ice cubes, thinner bags for a dry cleaner, an anti-static bag, extra large bags for furniture and zipper-locking type of bags for all sorts of things. Many companies spend most of their advertising budget as well as their merchandise funds on the plastic bags which are meant to contain food or other product people are purchasing.
Custom poly bags could be constructed for a million different products from a small bag for candy or pills to a large bag that would cover a mattress to keep it clean and dry in storage. By adding a logo, company name, website or phone number, a business could help to advertise themselves to hundreds of other people when their customers carry their bags around town or reuse them for something.
