The Underground City
The largest and best-known Montreal area is its Underground City, so called because it is a sheltered complex. There are museums, cafes and shops aplenty to choose from, all under one roof. You will find the Underground City located in the centre of downtown Montreal.
Saint-Laurent Boulevard and Saint-Denis Street
If your holiday spending money is burning a hole in your pocket, a great way to spend it in a hurry is to take a trip around the hundreds of chic boutiques, bars and eateries of Saint-Laurent Boulevard and Saint-Denis Street, the hippest borough in town.
