Discuss to your partner his qualities that made you decide winning him back and dumping the other guy. It's not that easy but you have to explain every detail if possible, that way, he'll listen and have the chance to consider it. Assure him that you won't do the same mistake and convince him that cheating helped in a way of making you realize how much you love him.
Latch on to the Affirmative
After searching and gathering all of the reasons, formulate them into something worth waiting for. Something that will let him claim you and never let you go. Don't hesitate to proclaim your love to by acknowledging everything he does. Act as if you see no one but him and that you are madly in love with him by listening to everything he says.
