John has become the best sought after sax performers within the Intermountain West more than a decade. John has received numerous prestigious Area Regular Best of Utah rewards as an player together with with his classic jazz bands. He has played the Star Spangled Banner solo before NBA games, plays with the Utah Symphony, and travelled Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland and more. John's freelancing has brought about performances along with the Temptations, Billy Preston, Solomon Burke, Wayne Newton, Frankie Avalon, Rodney Dangerfield, Don Rickles, and many others. John's bands have played main stage at the Park City International Jazz Fest, they have headlined jazz fests, within Colorado, and also the Salt Lake Jazz Fest.
John likes to keep busy performing with various groups, trios, quartets, nationwide performers as well as symphonies.
