Premiering on NBC in September of 2006, Heroes is an American television show from Tim Kring which combines drama and science fiction. Heroes is the story of regular people who find out that they have obtained superhuman powers, and the ways in which these powers change their lives. The series works from the aesthetics that have been established by American comics, employing story arcs which reach across multiple episodes to create a much larger, complex story.
Unfortunately not everyone is able to buy the full Heroes series on DVD, as it can be very pricey and out budget. Downloading Heroes episodes online tends to be preferred. Hayden Panettiere plays Claire Bennet, a high school student who can spontaneously regenerate.
Hiro Nakamura, portrayed by Masi Oka, is an ordinary Japanese office clerk who has the power to time travel and teleport. There are others also introduced in thus episode like Peter Petrelli, a male nurse played by Milo Ventimiglia who believes he can fly, it is still unclear during this episode if this is his special ability.
Throughout this season of Heroes we are introduced to several others who have special abilities from all walks of life.
