Will Ferrell was once voted the most annoying performer of all time. Since then, he's quickly become one of the most popular, one of the most well paid and one of the funniest. He's charming, he's got great comic instincts, and he's not afraid to go all the way to get a laugh. This makes him one of the few guys who's just as funny to you as he is to your grandmother. Here are a few of the funniest Will Ferrell movies...

The Legend of Ricky Bobby

This movie was one of those great spoofs that really makes you care about the characters. It's not just funny, it's also an example of very good storytelling. In this way it's comparable to Young Frankenstein by Mel Brooks. You'll actually be rooting for Ricky Bobby by the end of the film. This isn't Meet the Spartans spoofing, where you just reference scenes from popular movies. It's real film making with real characters and a real story, and you'll actually find yourself caring about them.

A Night at the Roxbury

A Night at the Roxbury is... Okay, not one of his VERY best, but it really has its moments. It may seem odd to take the idea of guys bobbing their heads left and right to "What is Love?" and try to flesh it out into a full length feature film, but... Ferrell and Kattan do a lot to make the most of a B grade script. So while it's not one of his very best, it's one of the best examples of just how funny Ferrell can be whether or not the script is there for him.

Ben Stiller's Zoolander

Ferrell has one of his funniest early roles in this film as the flamboyant villain. It's really great watching him throw tantrums and throw lattes at his equally flamboyant assistants. Unfortunately, he's not in the movie's funniest scene, wherein a playful gasoline fight breaks out, but, the rest of the movies biggest laughs are all his.
