You say you want to work for yourself from home? Maybe you're looking for a second job, or you want to be your own boss. There's a huge market for Internet articles. If you can write articles, you can get work in this hot new area.
Over the past few years, I've written thousands of articles for my clients, and for myself. I enjoy writing articles, and while it's a challenge, it's also an opportunity to make a great income. As I tell my writing students: if you learn how to write articles, you will make more money than you could ever make at a day job.
The more you write and promote using article marketing, the more clients will come to you every month to buy your services.
Who are those clients? Your first task is to answer that question. Content is the foundation of the World Wide Web. Website owners need to constantly buy articles in order to keep visitors coming back, and buy. So they hire writers like you. Best of all, you don't need any real writing experience to do this. You just need to be able to write on the subjects they give you on assignment.
But before you set up your home-based article-writing business, you need to get a feel for what you will be doing.
Pick a subject and write five or more articles on it. You will show these to your clients as samples of your abilities. Don't blow off this easy assignment: you need it, as will your clients.
The more you write articles, the faster you will write them and the smoother the process will be.
You will also learn to meet your clients' demands for quality content. Set your sights on top quality articles: there's already more than enough bad ones out there. Your customers have learned to tell the difference, so make your writing as good as it can be.
Once you've written some sample articles, your next step is to get article writing jobs.
Go to online job marketplace sites and you'll find a lot of them. Line up several of these gigs and be sure to ask for testimonials from your customers. The more testimonials you get, the more customers you'll be able to get.
