“Internet Marketing Does Not Work For Chiropractors” By Matt Prados

I always laugh when someone says “I already tried that”, Internet marketing doesn’t work for chiropractors.
Chiropractic Marketing, in fact, needs persistence and guidance. As a chiropractor, you need to stay in the game.
Here are some very important facts in considering Internet marketing as part of your marketing campaign:
* A survey done in 2006 showed that 74% of adults in the US return to Internet when they want to learn about something or make a new purchase.
* Go to www.google.com and type in your profession followed by your city’s name. The results you will see are: next to the map and then beneath that are the top 10 “organic” listings results (these are not paid for results) and sponsored links (up to 2 on the top and the rest on the right which are pay-per-click ads). How many times do you show up out of these possible 30 listings…0 or 1 time? If so, mathematically what are your chances of being picked? 0–3%!
* What if you were to dominate the first page with the best showing on the map, the best showing on the pay-per-click ads and the most (let’s say 4 of the 10) organic listings for a total of 6 out of 30 of the 30 links on that same front page giving you a 20% chance of getting that business?
It is possible to have more than 4 of 10 organic listings
* Ever wondered how your site ranking matters? In terms of percentage of clicks, here are the results as per Google:
Rank % of Clicks Visits per 1,000
1st spot on page one of Google 42.1% chance of being clicked on 421
2nd spot on page one of Google 11.9% chance of being clicked on 119
3rd spot on page one of Google 8.5% chance of being clicked on 85
4th spot on page one of Google 6.1% chance of being clicked on 61
5th spot on page one of Google 4.9% chance of being clicked on 49
6th spot on page one of Google 4.1% chance of being clicked on 41
7th spot on page one of Google 3.4% chance of being clicked on 34
8th spot on page one of Google 3.0% chance of being clicked on 30
9th spot on page one of Google 2.8% chance of being clicked on 28
10th spot on page one of Google 3.0% chance of being clicked on 30
