Bloggers Paycheck by John Yeo is a breath of fresh air among the blogging how-to guides.
It was written by John Yeo who is relatively new to the professional blogging world.
Johns personal story about how he became he professional blogger is quite interesting. He blogged about how he tried to create the perfect wedding ceremony for he and his wife.
The project soon became huge and he started getting a good amount of traffic. The traffic eventually brought him paid advertisements and other lucrative deals.
His fresh technique to blogging is that he doesnt get bogged down in the details. While the content and concepts are detailed in many areas, he also shows you some free tools you can use on the internet to do the activities connected with those concepts.
The Blogger's Paycheck system has: 12 video series on Search Engine Optimization (SEO), the main 115-page Blogger's Paycheck e-book, 9000 Private Label Rights (PLR) articles, 30 WordPress blog themes, and E-mail support.
The author created 5 different manuals for this program. The amount of pages for each manual is from around 10 pages to the main manual of 115 pages. Just having these 5 separate manuals is great for the new and the experienced blogger because you have the options to choose what you want to read first.
Probably the most important section is the one about focus...you know, the thing Internet marketers DON'T have!
While John's main blog (the wedding blog) was something he loves to do, John is quick to point out that your niche must have a demand in the internet in order for it to be profitable. This breaks the usual rule of "Do What You Love."
The first section also discusses how to set up your blog in the first place. Everything is covered from choosing a blog platform to where to find pictures to make your blog more appealing. Other sections talk about writing content and finding keywords so you can rank highly in the search engines. The next section on traffic contains some pretty standard, but helpful, information.
Blogging newcomers will find the "show me" approach to be very helpful, as John includes annotated screenshots showing you how to not only create your blog, but also how to promote it, using web 2.0, and monetizing it.
While some important topics werent covered in the course, the different approach and quality content, together with the 12-part SEO video series, make this is a solid program for the new blogger.
