As you grow older your teeth lose their color slowly, and this is a normal process. If your teeth are stained from foods or drinks, tooth whitening should work well, however if the cause of the stains is use of certain medications or damage to the tooth, then whitening might not be successful.

These kits function on the same way as the whitening procedures done in dental office, but the concentration of the bleaching agent is lower. Although at-home teeth whitening may be effective, keep in mind that it needs more applications compared to to professional whitening.
2. High-concentration Bleaching Agent. Professional teeth whitening kits use stronger bleaching agent compared to the over-the-counter whitening kits. They work the same way as the inexpensive at-home teeth whiteners, however they are more effective because of the high concentration of the bleaching agent.
3. Laser Teeth Whitening. The laser teeth whitening procedures are performed in dental offices. These procedures usually use ultraviolet rays to speed up the bleaching process. Laser teeth whitening is one of the fastest and most effecting bleaching methods.
