It's time to pack those woolen clothes, the thick blankets, the woolen carpets away in the cupboard or basement and air out the rooms.
Follow these easy-to-do steps for a spring home decor:

Remove all clutter: Put away all the unwanted things in the house that you have been collecting throughout the winter, remove the thick blinds and curtains and put lighter, airy curtains with big, bright prints. Cover the floor with a beautiful rug in the center with prints in red and pink. If your sofa is looking drab get covers made with bright colors matching the walls and furniture. Change the angle of things around the house to give a different look to your house. Take out the thick blankets from the bed, put a pastel, floral bed cover. At the end of all this hard work you will surely be satisfied with your creativity.
2. Use flowers to decorate your home. Don't just limit flowers for the living room. You can place fresh flowers on the kitchen counter or table, bedrooms, entryway (if there's a chest) and bathroom. The more flowers, the nicer. There will be rich colors in your home and your place will smell fresh everyday.
3. An arrangement of artificial flowers: Flower, flowers, flowers. Why so many flowers? You may ask. Flowers give color to a dull room; it shows that spring is here. If you are allergic to fresh flowers or just find it inconvenient to get them, keep a bouquet of artificial flowers in a big fancy pot. It's easy to take care of and long lasting.
4. Deodorize. Your home has been enclosed for the past months so opening your windows and allowing in some fresh air is amazing. Add in the fresh flowers and your home will truly smell like spring morning everyday. Lighting scented candles with flower fragrances intensify the spring ambiance. Fresh fruits placed in a bowl can make your kitchen delicious-smelling.
5. Go outdoors. Hiking, mountain climbing, walking and camping are perfect come springtime. But why go far when you can have as much fun in your own backyard? Prepare your patio, garden or backyard for some get-togethers with friends.
