Whether you like to hike high or to tan low, no summer should pass without making the most of it. Most people plan their summer several months ahead, researching on the Internet for travel websites, looking for the best deals and the most relaxing ways of washing the tension off.
Take my brother for example: he is the perfect family guy. Every summer holiday he gets, he takes his wife and two year old son and drives somewhere as far away from home as possible. Sometimes they stop to take a bath in the sea, sleep in a hotel and then hurry to discover more old monasteries and new playgrounds on their way to the mountains they always rent a summer house there. Sometimes they stop to visit either a museum, a castle or even an auto show.
This year he is planning on surprising his wife with a trip in Birmingham. He has rented an apartment there several months ago. It is their four year wedding anniversary. And since they got married there he thought it would be a great way to spend the summer and celebrate at the same time and in that same town.
They had a small wedding, but it seemed like a perfect picture you just cant get enough of. My sister-in-law is Japanese, so you can imagine that it was an Asian style of tying the knot.
But if you are in the mood for a more eventful holiday, look for concerts or festivals. See the big cities, there is always something going on. Cultural events a re to be seen and sunny people to be met. Rent a flat or go couch surfing, the Internet makes anything possible.
For those with big events going on in the summer, there are professionals who dont go on holidays just to plan every fancy wedding, to please the relatives and keep the bride and groom as rested as possible. Asian weddings are very popular these days. From the most modest packages to the poshest ones, the effect is guaranteed. More and more hotels organize this type of weddings, exploring Asian cultures every time a couple ties the knot.
