In addition, people who meditate tend to be happier and more optimistic than non-meditators.

No-one's saying that you shouldn't spend time socialising and taking part in activities, but it's easy to end up exhausted and stressed. Meditation can help you rest and re-energise yourself so that you can make the most of all aspects of university life.
