Getting Rid Of Man - The Best Means To Get Rid Of Man Boobs
Go to: Previous Article Next Article
Man boobs (gynecomastia/male breasts) has slowly risen in incidence over time. Highly traumatic, yet poorly understood, gynecomastia is very common between ages of 15-24 in men.
As common as it is, a good treatment for man boobs has yet to grace the medical field. Yet, there has been a lot of hope offered by alternative treatment options for gynecomastia. Treating gynecomastia effectively requires the correct understanding of the causes behind this condition.
Gynecomastia Causes
Many people incorrectly think that gynecomastia is a direct result of a primarily fatty diet. The often missed, but important factor behind fat deposits in the male breasts is more than just junk food and pop. While too much fat content could possibly result in deposits of fat, there are many healthy men who still experience an increase in fat deposits making it appear that they have male breasts.
In most cases, the primary factor resulting in man boobs is actually an imbalance of the hormones. This disturbance in hormonal levels is usually more common in men with little to no exercise, and an overall poor diet. Therefore, while on the surface it appears that gynecomastia is caused by excess fat, this is in actuality a misrepresentation of the truth.
How Do I Know I Have Gynecomastia?
As phrases such as man boobs or male breasts would indicate, gynecomastia is defined as the condition where a man who is otherwise healthy experiences an increasing amount of fat deposits under the breasts especially in the nipple area, making it look like female-breasts.
Even though many times the breasts are developed in proportion to fat deposits on the belly and other parts of the body, in many cases the breasts are dis-proportionally large, that can be a reason for ridicule and embarrassment.
Treatment For Gynecomastia
Many treatment options for gynecomastia have been offered, a large percentage of which are actually counter-productive:
1. A Surgical Procedure - This is surprisingly common. The breasts are surgically opened and fat deposits underneath are removed. Though this seems to have an immediate effect, this does not really treat the condition fully.
On top of this, there is a risk of developing permanent scar tissue underneath (which can mean permanent man boobs) makes this a poor choice. This procedure, as expected, is very expensive, and can cause many side-effects.
2. Prescription Drugs and Medication - Widely prescribed, these drugs have yet to show any promise. Additionally, the side effects and high costs make this an unattractive option for a man suffering from gynecomastia.
3. Maskers - This category includes anything that can't treat male breasts, but is just used to make it appear that the man boobs don't exist anymore.
The most common form of a masker is that of the 'man boob vest'. These are tight fitting vests that try and give the superficial appearance of having been treated, when it is not true.
4. Exercises for getting rid of man boobs - If one knows what exercises help get rid of man boobs, follows them diligently, and is (very) patient, then these can be effective.
In addition, this is not immediately effective in treating issues resulting from hormonal disturbance and fluctuations and cannot really take away the fat being deposited in the chest.
The ideal treatment is to learn how to apply a treatment system that combines the various components of the treatment in a plan that effectively and quickly helps cure this embarrassing condition.
