Why Fruits Are A Perfect Alternative To Chocolates

My boyfriend and his mother are serial dieters; and have just announced that yet again they are going to Weight Watchers. This will be their umpteenth time there as they can't stick to it.
Being a supportive girlfriend. I offered to rid their home of all their junk food, but I wasn't prepared for the vast amount there was of it! I threw a lot in the trash but took the best stuff home with me, being underweight I'm lucky that I can eat this junk
I tried to think of ways that would help them succeed this time, so sat them down to discuss a game plan. My boyfriend will eat absolutely anything whereas his mother is very picky. So I acted as mediator to decide on what healthy foods they would have in as snacks, very quickly they agreed on fruit.
Fruits are the perfect snack. They can easily be popped in your bag and when you get that mid morning or afternoon yearning for something sweet. Reach for them instead of the bars of food. Junk food is just another way of describing convenience foods, so make your fruit as convenient by always having some with you.
To make sure that you always take fruit with you when you go out, keep a bowl by the door so you can't get out without seeing it.
It's always a worry that food might spoil before you get it eaten. There are two things you can do here; either buy it in smaller quantities or do what I do, always keep in frozen fruit juice and dried and frozen fruits.
So if you want to look and feel great, do as my boyfriend and his mom have done, replace the cupboards full of candy with bowls of fruit.
You may be skeptical that you will get the same enjoyment from fruit as you would candy, but stick with it and you'll soon get the benefits.
