When you look at persuading someone to buy things from you, this is a skill that can't be overlooked by the internet marketer. I have published material on how to do SEO, but what I do right here is to give you content for free with the articles that I write. Then the next step from you would be to purchase the material that I am offering. This is how you would get bigger and bigger commitments from people.
Your product is at the top of the ladder. Your social media is as well. I use social media to keep my customers in the know of what I am doing. I give away a lot of free stuff that changes people's minds about me.
You have two types of people that you deal with, those that have purchased something and those who haven't yet.
The people that purchase things from you just move there way down the ladder. You are saying that you have an interest in what I have when you make a purchase. This leads to you trusting me in what I am saying. They when you buy from me, it is my part to live up to your expectations.
The first thing is to write a book or an eBook. Then you just move up the ladder and work your way up to what people want to buy. Every time a person purchases something from you they become more precious. The more that a customer is worth, the more they are apt to tell their friends about you. This spreads the message to others.
It's a process of turning people into true believers. People will begin to stick up for you on occasion. These are individuals that go out and tell everyone about you with pride. It is these customers that you need to protect with all of your might.
It's strange, but you can already see some parallels drawn between what I am doing and a cult. You get those few people excited about what you have to offer and they go off and bring more people to you.
I am constantly building up my business so that others will tell their friends about me. This is called word of mouth marketing. It is very powerful. Even if someone doesn't quite get it then will still spread the word about you to others. I repeat but do it in different ways. This way other will repeat the same message. That is how persuading people works.
