Therefore prison officers have to sit through Language and Communication tests. There are also the memory tests, report writing tests among other things. Physical fitness examinations are also part of the procedure. This is followed by the most vital of all assessments which is the interview round. The recruits must respond crisply and in a brisk fashion. To prepare adequately for this situation, candidates must go through mock interviews to get a fair idea.
He must have an in depth knowledge about what the job entails, including the remuneration and the like. Also, details about procedures, working conditions, eligibility requirements of a prison officer, promotion opportunities, expectations from the job, and obviously the working hours.
