4. Joshua Tree National Park: Many view this national park from the road, but this means they miss the majesty that the "road view" only hints at. This park encloses a fascinating opportunity to enjoy plants and animals native to the area able to survive strong winds, amazing and unpredictable downpours and other extreme weather.
5. Lassen Volcanic National Park: The combination of fumaroles hissing and mud pots boiling makes this park an experience. Visitors recognize the unique combination of creation and destruction.
