Writing an Autoresponder-Friendly Sales Pitch is basically writing a sales letter in the form of an email. This aim of this email is getting the reader to click on a link in the body of the email. The link will then guide the reader to the company web site or perhaps to a landing page.

There are different kinds of friendly sales pitch emails, depending on the intended audience. The first type is for prospects, those who are potential buyers. And the second type is for buyers, those have already bought before and might be apt to buy again.

Regardless, your only aim is for the reader to click your link. In order for this to happen, the email must establish trust. Only after this will a potential customer click.

The most essential part of this letter is the subject line. It cannot be robotic and kitschy. You want to raise interest, entice, and stand out above all competitors. Your success depends on it, because an unopened email equals zero sales every time.

Opening your email should be the highlight of the day for whoever reads it. You want them thinking of your email while sitting in traffic. And you have to do that without coming across as too aggressive or insincere.

To keep the interest, you cannot just directly beg for the sale. You must incorporate anecdotes, narratives, similes, and other types of stories into the sales message. It should never be impersonal, like the reader is just a nameless one of millions who will receive the same pitch. The language should familiar, casual, and relevant.

However, do not get carried away with the story. This is supposed to be sales letter, not a short story. There must be a goal to the story, in other words, not just something for the sake of entertainment. People are busy these days; and while they might enjoy some entertainment, they will not enjoy something that just wastes their time.

You must conjure up a theme around which your story will be crafted, and this theme will be what sells the item. Their dreams or wants must be addressed. Your story will have a connection to them and their problem. And you have the solution.

Whatever is being sold is introduced next. Again, it is the cure all for what ills, the hero, so to speak. You must outline its benefits so enticingly that the reader is practically jumping through the monitor to acquire your product.

A final effort to ensure the click is the promise of things like a moneyback guarantee. A generous offer such as this assures the reader of your credibility.

Lastly, your email should not be more than 700 words in length. Regular fonts, regularly sized, are best. The style and font should be conservative, but do not hesitate to try different themes and storytelling styles, either. What works always changes, and you should be so prepared.
