Sexual Intercourse is extremely uncomfortable.
Hemorrhoids may be very painful and cause a person to be out of commission. You may even experience anal fissures with severe hemorrhoids and may require surgery. In the most severe cases surgery such as Hemorrhoidectomy is required and needs at least 3 weeks of recovery time.
Hemorrhoids are painful, but you will have more choices when it comes to hemorrhoid prevention.
1. One form of hemorrhoid prevention is to avoid getting constipation. You will be able to do this; you will need to go to the toilet, when you feel the need to go or at least within 30 minutes. This keeps stools from getting dry and causing you to have constipation. Constipation increases damage to your anal canal and makes you strain to use the toilet, which causes you to get hemorrhoids.
2. Be sure to increase the amount of water you drink (at the very least have 8 glasses a day). This helps to soften stools and makes going to the bathroom much easier.
3. Increasing fiber in your diet will help you to make your stools softer. Eating at least 3 fruit servings and 5 vegetable servings in order to increase your fiber intake.
4. Digestion is one of the ways to keep you from getting constipation and goes a long way in hemorrhoid prevention. To get better digestion you will want to get at least 30 minutes of exercise.
5. Do not remain seated for a long time. In order to prevent getting hemorrhoids you will not sit too much. This may be unavoidable if your job requires sitting a long time, however taking a break at required intervals will help reduce the chances of hemorrhoids.
