There is a big difference between having a generic domain name and not having anything called a domain name. It is essential to have a good domain name. There are several characteristics associated with a domain name. The domain name should be unique and easy to remember. In fact it should be etched on the mind of the surfer. Some common domain names like sports.com and pets.com is actually advertising a category of products and not a brand distinctively. Examples of some names that are easy to remember are google.com, apple.com and yahoo.com. These names are selected after a lot of thinking and research and also these are biggest names in the web industry. So it is common sense to follow their path and choose a good name that will be easy to remember. Certain stingy people don’t even have a domain name and consider it unnecessary to waste $50 or more just to get a domain name. This is very unwise. Their web address would be similar to something like “ispname/~fashionshop”. The domain name is worth the price.
While designing a website put your self in the customer’s shoes and try to think like them. Note down the queries a customer would have about the product or the service that your business offers. The customer’s expectations should also be kept in mind while designing the website. Now it is the client’s decision to decide on how to answer the customer in the best possible way. Moreover, questions like how can you make the website more authentic should be asked. Authenticity is important to make the customers believe and trust your service. On an average customers are always not bargaining for the best price, they are good with a decent buy and happy avoiding a bad buy. A common mistake done by most websites is that they do not list the prices. They get queries from the customer related to the price of the product or service. It is best to put the menu card on display. Indeed if you have good prices for good products then put up the price for advertisement.
The value of a product is mostly calculated by the price. So this part of business of setting a price for a product does not come under the web designing criteria. It should be previously calculated and the accepted price should be definitely put on the website. When the price you offer is lower than the actual market price than it will be wise if you are using Value = offer/price technique. That way the customer will have at least some reason to buy your product or avail your service. It is compulsory for every website, even if it is not an important one to have good spelling and grammar. Spelling mistakes and grammatical mistakes are inexcusable. It is best if you can ask a third party to properly inspect the end result. When the error is found in your webpage it should be corrected as soon as possible.
