The collaboration with several issues related to online marketing like compatibility between web design and customer transaction operations through which a buyer could pay electronically for his purchase did not exist previously when the web design and websites started. Social networking and advertising campaigns were never a part of web design. People just did not trust this way of business and official communication. WebPages were primarily online pamphlets for advertisement of a few products. Even then large projects were completely out of line. Projects of a large magnitude required a lot of skill and perseverance. There is an issue with large projects even today. The standards of web design itself have to be reconsidered when dealing with large projects. All the failures in large projects hit one wall called collaboration. There is insufficient leadership and even if someone is willing to undertake the job lack of skill becomes another problem. Technical knowledge concerning web design has been limited to just research. As a result there is lack of professionalism when two competitors are fighting for the best. It also results in improper use WebPages.
There are some issues when it comes to web designer point of view while choosing between different ways of coding. He cannot do anything he wants just with a few lines in his head. Some options are limited. For example, the web designer cannot manipulate the dimensions of the browser window nor can he choose the web browser. There are good designers who try to organize certain characteristics of appearance on the monitor with the help of HTML codes. They change the width of the element by using tabular designs which can be made more creative with the help of CSS. The fixed-width design associated with many browsers makes it almost impossible to change neither the layout nor the graphics. There are others who believe that fixed-width sets a standard for web design and changes should be made within the stipulated layout.
The liquid approach is often used by designers to work with elements with as much flexibility as possible. The best thing about liquid design is that the browser window can be resized. The liquid design seems to be more compatible for designers but it has its own disadvantages. It helps the designer to use the space available effectively and makes presentation easier to work with. Adjusting the size of the text and reducing the page module size but retaining all the contents and the size can also be small and big as the designer wishes. Each element on the screen can be labeled with a size separately. This way the HTML standard was followed more effectively. The functions of a particular text should also be modified along with the appearance. Web designers had the option of deciding the way their websites could look with different monitor resolutions. The text could vary its size between different values. The fit to window feature was released just to compensate for the problems that the designers faced with using screen space.
