For example, some babies who are born on December 25 or during the Christmas season are given names that are derived from the name of Jesus Christ, or other characters of the nativity. Babies born on February 14 may be given names like "Heart" or "Love," it being the Valentines. Many people are also named after holidays and other national observances. Some people have cute or funny names because they are born during the celebration of Independence Day or days of heroes who are commemorated on that day.
