Upgrading this component allows for better and more advanced programs to be run as well as high definition videos to be played. It is an easy component to replace as the card fits easily into a lot inside the machine replacing the old card.
Other upgrades which can be added to spare slots inside the machine can expand how things can be connected to the mac. Bluetooth cards, infra red cards, wireless network card and modem cards all offer ways in which other devices can be linked up to the system and allow for the user to access them from the system.

Mac upgrades allow for the overall system speed to be increased and can add additional functionality. They are easy to install and often make the system a lot more stable and give the ability to run more modern programs.
