Build a Gaming PC to Save the Gaming Industry

Building computers has always been an activity assigned to the pc gaming crowd. This is pretty engaging to me. I too learned the correct way to build a gaming pc so I could play computer games. There's an engaging phenomenon taking place though that has the potential to turn pc building into a common ability held by most individuals, but also which has the power to fully eliminate the idea of pc gaming.
Over the past 6 years or thereabouts the advancement of pc gaming technology has somewhat fell. In the earlier half this decade, there had been a continuous improvement in technologies. Games went from being much like what you'd think re 'video games ' (sort of like bad looking arcade games) to gaining a quickly developing sense of realism.
It started with quick improvements in graphics capacities. Software capabilities were advancing faster than consumer graphics cards could keep abreast of. One would see leaps and bounds in graphical improvement towards more cool looking effects and an improved sense of realism. Then came the move to improve the physics capabilities in games. Games would be featured with 'realistic ' physics where dead bodies would fall naturally, or boxes that exploded would have the peices fly out realistically and respond to gravity and other objects as you would expect.
I suspect that last go forwards in gaming technology was a reply to the graphics cards themselves. The 1st movement was a wish to have exploiting advanced technology and that pushed developments in graphics card design, then developers responded by taking advantage of the recently pushed technology to form more realism in games.
Because of all this technological advancement, the facility to produce consoles became far simpler. The last ten years has seen the production of 3 major console systems, which in themselves have completely defined the face of gaming. So what is the problem now? Well now we have massively 'advanced ' pc systems, but gaming has been outlined by consoles - which by their very nature are stagnant. Our computer hardware is going unused.
What this could mean is that computer assemblers (corporations that sell pre-made computers) will find their systems not as desirable. The other thing this could mean is that tech advancement will slow, but more focus will turn toward interest in building computers. If you would like worth in a gaming system, then you build a gaming pc. My hope is the latter is the trail which history will see.
