Are you prepared for an emergency? What happens when you go to the grocery store and find that all the food is already off the shelves? Do you have a plan in place that will allow you to eat more than just acorns and dandelions? nnnI recommend that everyone purchase freeze dried food so they can be prepaired in the event of an emergency. Protect yourself and your family before it is too late.nnnOf all the possible emergency situations we Americans could find ourselves in, I think a currency crisis is the most likely.nnnOur currency is not backed by gold or silver. When the Federal Reserve prints more money it devalues the money you already have. If this is done too much then we could experience hyperinflation. Germany in the 1920's experienced this and Zimbabwe more recently has as well.nnnHyperinflation is when the currency rapidly looses purchasing power. To give you a historical example: Germany 1921 60 German marks was worth about 1 US Dollar. By the end of 1922 it took 8000 German marks to equal 1 US Dollar.nnnThe Germans actually had to bring wheel barrels of money in order to buy a loaf of bread. I hope it doesn't get that bad but it is certainly possible.nnnSo along with purchasing gold and silver (IE American Silver Eagle Coins) to protect your purchasing power I believe it is also important to purchase Freeze Dried Food.nnnFood might actually be a better investment then silver or gold because in the event of a national crisis the supply chain of food could easily be interrupted.nnnNot only that but you can't exactly eat gold or silver. Some of the information is a little unnerving but I think it's worth watching.nnnAlternatively you could also go on YouTube and search for Peter Schiff, Ron Paul, Jim Rogers or Marc Faber with the keyword inflation or hyperinflation and I am sure you will find what you are looking for.nnnI should also let you know that there is a fine line between this stuff and conspiracy theory websites from people like Alex Jones. Some of what he is saying may be true I don't really know. But don't through out the baby with the bathwater. The devaluation of our currency is either done intentionally with a dark purpose behind it or it is done because of government incompetence. nEither way our currency has and will continue to be devalued.nnnAgain currency collapse isn't the only situation we could find ourselves in. Hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes are also possible depending on where you live in the country.nFreeze dried food is great because it lasts for years and so changes are you will need it before it goes bad.nI recommend The Ready Store for freeze dried fruit and vegetables.
