On the other hand, those who drank a minimum of four cups of java daily actually had poorer memories!

4. It contains important vitamins, minerals, and amino acids.
When we think about coffee, we tend to focus on the caffeine. That's understandable, since caffeine consumed in excess can create an array of health problems. But in fact, the tiny coffee bean contains several powerful vitamins and minerals (Vitamin B3), which are crucial for our wellbeing. Another important component in the coffee bean is amino acids. These substances occur naturally in our bodies, and are contained in protein. Our bodies transform the amino acids in our foods, into a certain type of neurotransmitter within our brains.
